I know it’s not weird for me to disappear for a while and suddenly come back with something without giving you any info whatsoever, but this time things are quite different.

My computer is dead. It won’t even turn on, so it’s not something I can fix, and I don’t have the money or resources to get a new one at the moment. So, as things are now, I can’t work on anything. I can’t even post here (I’m doing this from a friend’s laptop).

For me to start working again, I need to find a job (not looking good on that front), save for a few months (since I’m getting a new computer, I’ll get a good one), buy a computer and transfer all the data from my old HDD (that hopefully isn’t damaged, and therefore I haven’t lost anything I had already done). This will take at least three months. And believe me, it really pisses me off (no anime, no videogames, no chilling off in front of the screen, reading manga on my shitty phone’s screen, etc.).

And to make things even worse I just learned that Daniel Rabinovich from Les Luthiers died.

Himouto! Umaruchan’S 05 – Game②

Umaru chipsSoon, I’ll need to look up more Umaru pics. Not worried, though. There should be plenty out there. Although I must wonder, why is my Umaru-chan folder so damn small?

Anyway, here’s chapter 5. Maybe you’ve noticed that both in the previous chapter and in this one it says 3 and 4 respectively in page 2, while I’ve been saying they are chapter 4 and 5. Why does this happen? Well, I’m not sure. Chapter 1 says 2, and chapter 0, 2 and 3 say nothing. But in the Tonari no Young Jump page, they are listed as I’m listing them, so I’ll keep up with that, and just say that Sankaku Head likes to mess up with numbers.

Tomorrow, I’ll bring you “Seasons” (by the way, the chapter, again, says nothing about numbers).

Himouto! Umaru-chan’S 04 – Game

Umaru henshinOk, here I am after the huge fiasco of the weekly release. And only a month late!

As compensation for this huge delay, I’ll be bringing chapter 5… tomorrow! And 6, the day after that! And maybe, by the time we’re all watching the anime, I’ll have released up to chapter 10! I know I’ve never been good with dates, but have some faith in me. I promise I’ll do my best.

Himouto! Umaru-chan’S 03 – Short titles

It’s elections day here in Spain. Yayifications (yeah, sure).

This week’s Umaru-chan’S chapter comes one day late, but well, considering how busy I was this week and how unfriendly this chapter was for translating, I’ll consider this a success anyway, although I’m not too happy with how it came out in the end.

Next week’s chapter should come out on time without any problem. It will be “Game (part 1)”… yeah, you read that right. Part one means there will be more.

Himouto! Umaru-chan’S 02 – Idols

And here I come with a new chapter of Himouto! Umaru-chan’S. Today, we have idols. We all love idols, don’t we?

Next week, we’ll have “short tittles” (I’m still not sure how to translate that one).

I’m sorry, I know these entries are kinda boring and short, but it’s not like I can add much. In a month, probably, when I stop being so busy, I’ll be able to go back to make entries as I used to, with some time to think about what to say in them. Meanwhile, this will have to do.

A new Saturday, a new release… It seems like I managed to… ok, I won’t lie. Actually, by the time I made yesterday’s entry, I had already finished this chapter, and was holding onto it in an evil plan to make it look as if I’d been busy.

Anyway, from this week on, I’ll be quite busy… because 6 pages in 7 days is gonna be a lot of work, no doubt about it.

Next time, we’ll have idols. I hope you all look forward to it.

Himouto Umaru-chan’S – Adverstiment

Look at me being a faggot and releasing something planned for Saturday 6 days late!

Ok, after this brief rant, allow me to start again. Today, I bring you something new, and probably unexpected too. I’m talking about Himouto! Umaru-chan’S, a spin off of Himouto! Umaru-chan, a manga about a girl leading a double life. The perfect girl outside, a slacking spoiled kid at home. This spin off is quite simple, each chapter being 6 pages long, and is currently being released on Tonari no Young Jump (a small, web released magazine related to the Weekly Young Jump) and Nicoseiga (Niconico’s manga platform). Currently, there’s 10 chapters out in addition to this prologue of sorts I’m releasing today (that, by the way, is only 4 pages long).

So, what’s the deal with me making the release on Saturday? Well, not only it’s been done for at least two weeks, but I was planning on stepping up the pace and start making a release per week of this manga until I caught up… on Saturdays. So, if you go and read the manga you’ll see that, at the end, there’s a “Next scheduled release” date. Well, those are supposed to be my dates. The dates when I’ll be uploading the next chapters. So, chapter one HAS to come out tomorrow. And I HAVE TO keep up the pace no matter what, because I already made the dates’ pages and I’m too lazy to change them. So, yeah, see you tomorrow with Chapter 1: Net call.

Yume Nikki – I’m not in your Dream – You

Well, it’s been a long way here, but I’m finally done (I should have finished this ages ago though). Maybe some of you noticed, but two days ago, I uploaded to bakatsuki the whole first part of the Yume Nikki LN. I’ve been working on this since January, but taking up Milky Holmes took up a lot of my time. I don’t regret it, though.

With this, there’s available up to chapter 16 thanks to Puding321, that has been translating on his own part 2. That makes it more than half the novel. Since I’ll start working on part 3 now while he goes on with 2, I’ll be posting here about his updates too, just so you don’t miss them.

Also, I asked the staff if the LN could be raised to official status, since it’s a one shot, and they’ve granted it. Yay!

On other news, if you’re wondering about Milky Holmes’ last episodes, they should be out soon. I contacted lae last week, and he told me that, while he has finished moving in, he’s been quite busy with work and other issues, but that he’ll try to have them finished this weekend. Meanwhile, I’ve been looking for the insert songs CD to finish translating them for the BD, but haven’t found it. I guess I’ll have to try harder.

About the last episodes of Milky Holmes TD

Well, as you know, we’re late with episodes 10 and 11 of TD. During last week, something came up for me, and I was unable to translate episode 10 until Saturday. Unfortunately, and while I’m on my usual schedule again, it seems lae is moving this week, so while he doesn’t fin a new apartment, he won’t be able to finish timing them either (although the last time we talked, he had already done more than half of 11th, and I’ll be taking over for him so he only has to tweak what I do for the release). That’s the reason we didn’t release the episode last week, and we probably won’t be releasing them this week either. I’m really sorry, but I hope you understand.

In any case, and just in time to save impatient people, Milky-Subs has released the episodes under [Nofunloli]. I’ve checked episode 10, and the subs are all right (although I think my translation is slightly better, probably due to the fact that I’m not only listening, but also reading the script so I don’t have to figure what they are saying out), so if you don’t want to wait, you can watch them without having to worry about that.

I hope we’re back with some releases soon (hopefully before the last one comes out). Meanwhile, remember to have fun, and enjoy the ending of this winter season.
